Summer in Somersby Park

We enjoy the mountain summers elevated and positioned under Laurel Park’s Jump Off Rock Park. Our community is full of interesting residents with plenty of living to do. Consider building your dream home here as lots are currently available. Visit us with your agent to take a peek at our peaks.

Community Improvements

Hendersonville Water Department upgraded our community with a Pressure Release Valve (PTV) replacement and Vault.  The installation project is valued at $100K. It’s a good investment into improving Somersby Park infrastructure as tax dollars are coming back to our community.   Photos courtesy of David K.

Preserving Beauty

Somersby Park residents represented half of the attendants during Laurel Park’s “Community Eco-Enviro Workshop” presented by Steve Pettis of the NC Extension Service.  The community learned about sustainable gardening practices, implementing wildfire-resistant landscaping and helping erosion control. Future meetings are scheduled as we continue to enhance our natural beauty and continue to enjoy living in the Western North Carolina mountains.

Community Workshop

Somersby Park is helping sponsor a free class offered in Laurel Park.  “Community Eco-Enviro Workshop” will be presented Thursday, March 28 from 1-3pm by Steve Pettis of the NC Extension Service.  Learn about:
