Somersby Park shows off its brilliant color this time of year.  With a rainy summer and lingering warm temperatures, the autumn performance got a late start as Mother Nature finally takes to the stage.

Late September featured warm days with afternoon rain, only to finish out with incredible sunsets.

These backyard photos of rising mist were captured in mid-August by a Somersby Park resident.  He said “A very unusual scene after a rain shower. I have never seen this before. ”

We’ll consider such mystical sights as Blue Ridge beauty.
