Neighbors gathered on a warm May evening to toast life and each other.

Somersby Park residents Elizabeth, Richard, Alice and Rick attended Saturday Night Pops with the Brevard Philharmonic. The concert was performed on the campus of Brevard College at the Porter Center on April 2. Musical selections included arrangements from The Phantom of the Opera, Oklahoma, Lord of the Rings and many others. But the highlight of the evening was when the musicians paid tribute to Ukraine with the playing of their national anthem. The performance was beautiful and quite moving.
Don’t miss the next social outing April 9 to River Arts District. RSVP by sending an email to somersbyparksocial@gmail.com.

Somersby Park neighbors gathered and headed to the DuPont State Recreational Forest to take in a five mile hike with stops along the way to enjoy Triple Falls, High Falls and Hooker Falls. Click here for more photos https://photos.app.goo.gl/8bF9g9jTftygyquS9
